Educational Center for the Visually Impaired $5,000 Support those who are blind or visually impaired through a variety of workshops designed to help live safer, more independent lives.
Greater All Nations Tabernacle Church of God in Christ $6,000 Monthly community senior luncheon program.
Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County $15,000 Wheelchair Ramp Installation program to allow low-income home owners to safely get in and out of their home.
Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County $17,000 Critical Home Repair program, which includes roof replacement, HVAC work (air conditioning & heating), interior accessibility aides, foundation work, insulation installation for energy efficiency, windows and doors, and other such home repairs.
Helping Hands of Springfield $6,000 Health and medical items and/or resources for senior clients at Helping Hands.
Illinois Presbyterian Home $5,000 New flooring in the Care Center at Illinois Presbyterian Home Communities – Fair Hills Residence.
Loami Area Community Pantry $5,000 Items for area seniors that are not normally available at the pantry.
Sangamon County Community Resources $16,000 Utility assistance to senior clients who do not qualify for LIHEAP benefits.
Senior Services of Central Illinois $12,000 Support operations for the Senior Transport Program, including routine maintenance of vehicles to ensure safe, efficient transport for senior citizens.
Senior Services of Central Illinois $3,000 Emergency Fund program to prevent utility shut-offs and home evictions for seniors.
Sparc $14,500 "Music to My Ears” Music Therapy Program, which will be the first music therapy program offered to the senior population diagnosed with a developmental disability.
Springfield Housing Authority $7,000 Provide transportation for seniors who do not own their own vehicles and do not have funds to pay for rides to the grocery store, doctor appointments, etc.
The James Project $12,000 Supplement grocery expenditures for grandparents and other relatives, 55 and over, who find themselves in the role of foster parent for their foster placement.
The Joy of Movement $2,500 Support adapted group dance classes for seniors with Parkinson's Disease and their care partners.
The Parent Place $6,000 Support for guardianship assistance, support meetings twice a month, and two workshops for grandparents raising grandchildren.
The Salvation Army Clearlake Corps and Community Center $12,000 Services for senior citizens who are raising their grandchildren, including housing, utility assistance and other needs for grandchildren.
