Chatham Fire Department $2,500 Provide free smoke alarms, home safety inspections and a Knox-Box program for seniors.
Comfort Living and Associates $5,000 To strengthen its existing Heating and Cooling Assistance Program, which provides low income seniors with support for emergency utility costs.
Contact Ministries $15,000 Provide emergency prescriptions to senior clients for medication that many are unable to afford and would otherwise have to do without.
First Presbyterian Church Board of Deacons – Food Pantry $3,200 Purchase food for the “Fifty-Five Plus Program,” which provides non-perishable food to clients who are 55 years or older.
Greater All Nations Tabernacle Church of God in Christ $4,800Enhance the monthly senior lunchbox presentations with information, services or programs that are beneficial to seniors.
Jewish Federation of Springfield, Illinois $2,500 Support the Chaverim senior lunch program that serves area seniors with healthy lunches, education, entertainment, and comaraderie.
Loami Area Community Pantry $4,000Purchase items for seniors that are not routinely available at the food pantry.
One Hope United $7,500 Support the Foster Grandparent Program, which offers senior citizens financial assistance for serving as mentors for youth with special needs.
Prairie Art Alliance $2,500 Conduct creative art classes for seniors that improve the quality of life through visual expression.
Senior Services of Central Illinois $20,000 Fulfill emergency senior requests, provide meals to seniors in need, and ensure the physical wellness of the seniors in our community.
Springfield Municipal Opera Association  $3,000 To allow seniors to attend shows when they are no longer able to drive and or may not be able to afford the cost of the ticket and transportation.
Springfield Park District $2,500 Purchasing program supplies to encourage continued growth in participation levels in pickleball programming.
The Salvation Army $15,000 Assisting clients in Sangamon County with the increased cost of prescriptions, which prevents seniors from skipping their prescriptions and causing further illness.
YMCA of Springfield $2,500 Purchase sports equipment for seniors to enhance safe, healthy lifestyles and camaraderie with other seniors.
